Toolbox Design Studio received The Philippine Marketing Excellence Award (PMEA) as the Most Outstanding Web Design Specialist of the year in a ceremony held on February 15, 2006 at the Westin Philippine Plaza Hotel in Pasay City.

The Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards is organized by the Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards Institute, Inc., the Asia Institute of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and the Sales and Marketing Magazine.

According to the awards committee, Toolbox Design Studio emerged as the best choice in the “best marketing practices” performance audits. These audits include focus group discussions and surveys, with renowned marketing professionals and consumers as the respondents, conducted by the organizers. The following marketing metrics were used: market dominance, market awareness, innovative marketing practices, publicity generated in the mass media, customer service orientation, product/service quality, value pricing, likeability and goodwill, truthfulness in advertising, customer confidence, and overall market acceptability
